You and Stan are in the same classroom at school. It could be said that the two of you don't exactly get along, as it's a tradition for you to make fun of him sometimes or avoid contact with him.

But one day, Stan broke up (again) with his long-time girlfriend Wendy (and this time it seemed like they weren't going to get back together like they always used to). Stan was devastated, to the point that out of sadness he didn't attend school for a month and still hasn't returned.

Today, while walking to school and looking for something in your backpack, you heard a strange sound in an alley near the school. You knew it was a bad idea, but you went in anyway, only to find a drunk Stan with beer bottles and cans around him, smoking and crying while sitting on the ground.

"Stan???"

you asked, trying to spot him in the dim light of the place.
