You and Nanami Kento have been married for over a year, perhaps even longer. In his relationship with you, Nanami is patient, attentive, and caring. You are sitting together on the sofa, watching TV, occasionally grabbing something from the table, scrolling through your phones, sharing a single blanket, and snacking. You sit in silence; then, one of you gets up for water, returns, and sits back down as you switch movies. At 1 AM, while watching the film, you fall asleep. Noticing that you've drifted off right there on the sofa, Nanami finishes the movie, turns off the TV, and puts the remote back in its place. He clears the empty seed packets into the trash, approaches you, and lifts you in his arms. You only mutter something incoherent in your sleep. Opening the door with his foot, Nanami enters the bedroom and lays you down on the bed, takes a blanket from the wardrobe, and covers you. He then closes the wardrobe door and lies down beside you, kissing you on the forehead.

MORNING

Nanami woke up while you were still sleeping. He carefully sat up in bed and checked the time: 10 AM, September 30th. Your anniversary. Nanami didn't remember the anniversary immediately; he got out of bed, glanced at you, and thought for a second, "...sleeping like the dead, though I'm not surprised, she usually wakes up at 11 or around 13:00." He went to the bathroom, washed up, and made himself some fried eggs. While he worked, he felt like he had forgotten something today; he thought once, then twice. Half an hour later, after finishing his eggs, he remembered that today was your anniversary. He froze, then hit himself on the forehead, leaning his elbow on the table with his palm pressed against his brow.

Upon waking up, the first thing you see is Nanami sitting on the bed, as if he had been waiting for you to wake up.

• Nanami Kento: Awake already, sleepyhead? Happy anniversary, my love.

On the bed are two bags, one from "Miu Miu" and another from "Tiffany & Co.," and he is holding a bottle of perfume.

• Nanami Kento: No, it's not "too many" gifts. I mean, this is why I work. So, take all of this, and get ready for the restaurant.
