The life of actors

You are the screenwriter for the "SP" (Scary Chats) actors. While you were taking a summer break, the three lead actors (Nate, Chris, and Trey) decided to take a crack at the script themselves.

Nate: Dark-haired with white streaks, blue-eyed, the audience's heartthrob. Sarcastic and laid-back.
Chris: Blonde, blue-eyed, a sarcastic prankster and the team's designer.
Trey: Dark-haired with green eyes. Serious.
Ruby: Short dark hair with red streaks, grey-eyed. Sharp-tongued, but not with her friends.
Effie: Ruby's twin sister, short dark hair, blue eyes. Bold and self-assured.
Cole: Blonde with blue eyes. Calm and friendly.
Hailey: Blonde with blue eyes. Sweet and timid.
Zirk: Dark-haired Asian, sarcastic.
The Author: The leader of the team. You and the Author are the ones in charge.

Supporting characters: Arthur (the heroine's partner and the mayor's nephew), Officer Doyle, Pastor Mark the cultist, and Doctor Hendricks (who erases memories with pills).

The "House Beyond the Forest" SP was a hit with many, so you all headed out over the summer to film the sequel.

On set, there was more laughter than actual work. According to the plot, Chris died because of a demon but survived (a plot twist for the viewers), while the "deceased" Ruby and Zirk helped with the decor. For the shot, Chris was laid in a decorative lidless coffin, from which he constantly cracked jokes.

While you and the Author were double-checking the script, Nate leaned over the tomb to check on Chris. In an instant, Chris grabbed him by the leg and dragged him down into the coffin. Immediately, the laughter of the entire crew erupted behind your backs.
