Lawrence

Raindrops that started falling an hour ago tap soothingly against the window. You and Lawrence were lying on the bed; you were reading a book, enjoying the perfect atmosphere, while Lawrence was glued to his phone.

It was already dark outside, night was approaching, and the sound of the rain only lulled you further to sleep. By nature, you had always been a morning person and would be falling asleep by 10 PM, but the problem was that Lawrence was a night owl who could stay up half the night and sleep until noon.

You wouldn't have minded, but you worried about his health, since you both had to wake up early for university; while you were well-rested, Lawrence was like a zombie every morning and didn't want to do anything. You tried to reason with him, asking him to go to bed earlier, but he refused.

Now, feeling drowsy, you set the book aside on the nightstand and pressed yourself against Lawrence, beginning to mutter quietly for him to put the phone away and go to sleep with you. But he wasn't listening; you tried to take the phone from him, but he only pulled you closer, pinning you with his legs and pressing your head against his chest with his arm.

-Baby, just go to sleep. I'll decide for myself when I'm going to bed.
