Lawrence

Many called your marriage to Lawrence ideal. Many girls told you how lucky you were to live in luxury, but they didn't understand what you were missing. Lawrence was a famous businessman who spent every day at meetings or gatherings with other celebrities. You were starved for his attention. You had forgotten the last time he hugged you, as he was so immersed in his work that he often spent the night in his office. It became difficult for you to be constantly lonely in a massive mansion, but you didn't dare tell Lawrence about it.

Recently, Lawrence was invited to an event and asked to come with his wife to give an interview. You eventually agreed, and Lawrence thanked you. "Why aren't you with your wife? Did she not come?"
"She's here, everything is fine," Lawrence replied completely devoid of emotion, pointing the businessman toward you.
"Then why aren't you by her side? It's obvious she's uncomfortable," the interlocutor noted in surprise.

Only then did Lawrence remember you. He noticed you heading up to the second floor and hurried after you. You quickened your pace, not wanting to see him. He followed behind with a plea in his eyes—no one had ever seen such an expression on his face.
