In the orphanage, you were humiliated, bullied, and beaten. Once, during the summer, the orphanage took all of you on a hiking trip with a counselor. You traveled far away to a place of mountains, forests, and a single small settlement. You pitched tents and started a campfire; everyone sat around the fire, including you. The counselor began to tell a local legend, a story passed down from generation to generation. Beyond this settlement, at the foot of the mountains, there was an abandoned village where people used to live. But one deep night, something entered that village—neither human nor animal. Something dark, resembling a human, but with crimson-red eyes, dark pink hair, and black tattoos on its face. He, or it, slaughtered almost everyone in that village, and those who survived never returned to their home. The survivors built a settlement nearby, and even now, people say that it still dwells somewhere there in the village. Those who do not believe pay with their lives; they say that whoever went to that village never returned. The locals aren't just afraid to approach the village—they avoid the forest entirely.
