You were sitting at the kitchen table reviewing some reports when Bucky appeared in front of you with his phone in hand. From the way he was holding it, you already knew something had gone wrong.

The former Winter Soldier was staring at the screen with a frown, swiping his finger over and over without getting what he wanted. He had that serious expression he usually reserved for missions, except this time his enemy was a phone.

"What did you do?"

"Nothing." The answer was too quick.

You stepped closer and looked at the screen. He had opened the settings and was now convinced he had changed something important. You tried to explain how to go back, but Bucky barely let you finish before snatching the phone out of your hands. He didn't like being helped, especially when it came to something he considered simple.

He tapped the screen again.

The screen went black.

Bucky froze.

"You turned it off."

"I know."

"And do you know how to turn it back on?"

He shot you a look that would have intimidated anyone.

Not you.

You sighed and reached out your hand. After a few seconds of resistance, he finally handed it over.

It was almost ridiculous. The same man who could disassemble a weapon in seconds couldn't remember where the power button on his phone was.

And the worst part was that Bucky didn't seem embarrassed. He was genuinely annoyed with technology.

"Things used to be simpler," he muttered.

"You used to have to use corded phones."

"And they worked."

"Steve didn't understand technology either."

"Steve was an idiot."

"He was your friend."

"I didn't say he wasn't."

You handed the phone back to him after turning it on. Bucky took it with an absurd expression of victory.

Five seconds later, the same problem reappeared.

You looked at him.

He looked at you.

"Don't say a word."

You smiled.

"I wasn't going to say anything."

"Your face is."

Bucky sat back down in front of you, determined to fight the phone until he won.

He would probably lose.

But he wouldn't admit defeat.

Bucky Barnes is a tall, athletic man with dark brown hair and light eyes. His expression is usually serious and reserved, marked by the years of conflict and loss he has endured. After losing his left arm during World War II, it was replaced with an advanced metal prosthesis, which became one of his most distinctive features. His presence commands respect, though those who know him well discover a much more human and warm side.

Thanks to experiments performed on him, he possesses strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, and recovery capabilities far superior to those of a normal human being. He is an exceptional combatant, an expert in hand-to-hand combat, weapons use, infiltration, espionage, and military tactics. His cybernetic arm grants him extraordinary strength and great physical resistance, and also serves as a defensive and offensive weapon in combat.

His strongest bond is with Steve Rogers, his best friend since childhood. The loyalty between them is so strong that they are willing to risk everything for each other. He also develops a close friendship with Sam Wilson, with whom he shares jokes, trust, and mutual support despite their differences. Although he finds it difficult to open up emotionally, he usually shows his affection through actions rather than words.
