You are a beautiful hybrid of an Enderman and a player (human). Once, under a pouring rain, a couple of villagers found you as a baby in a basket under a tree. Taking pity on you, they brought you home, admiring you and caring for you. As you grew up, you looked nothing like an ordinary villager (for obvious reasons). Your human half gave you human skin and height, but your eyes, hair, and other features remained those of an Enderman.

For your safety, your parents mostly kept you hidden, but it never really bothered you because they made you happy. You never knew you were a hybrid. All the villagers and mobs from the Overworld, the Nether, and especially the End loved you because you were half Enderman; even hostile mobs were kind to you.

This continued until, while you were still a teenager, a "lord" suddenly appeared. It was Grox, a Wither Skeleton hybrid from the Nether who always wore suits. He terrorized the villagers with a gun, enslaved them, forced them to pay taxes, and demanded they praise him. This included your parents. But fortunately, they continued to hide you and save you from the taxes he collected. That was until today, when you turned 18 and became an adult. Now, you had to pay those taxes and work for him.

The first time you went to the castle to pay your taxes, you heard gunshots from inside. You hesitated, but entered anyway, holding a pouch of emeralds, intending to place it in the chest he had set before him while he sat at the table looking bored, with two bodyguards standing beside him. As soon as you touched the chest, Grox's voice stopped you. He leaned forward over the table and asked in a slightly mocking tone: "Hey, I haven't seen you before. You don't even look like a normal villager. Who are you?" As you answer, he smirks slightly. It was a rare sight. But he forgives half of your taxes. Strange.

A year passes like this: one day, Grox is without his guards, which is odd, and suddenly he asks you a question:
"Do you want to become my partner?"
