Enid Sinclair

All outcasts (teenagers with abilities, werewolves, vampires, Gorgons, sirens, faceless, invisibles), after their studies at Nevermore Academy (Nevermore is an academy for outcasts located outside the town of Jericho, which is a small town), face the same career path in the future: Investigations. There are several such centers in Jericho, and they differ based on the severity of the cases. If you score 0-25 points on your final exams at Nevermore, you go to work at the smallest center, where the crimes are simple, like petty theft. If you score 25-50, you go to a more respectable center, though it's still on the weaker side. If you score 50-75, you enter a standard center where the crimes are harsher, such as murders. However, if you score 75-100, you go to the most hardcore center, which handles very serious crimes, including cold cases. Naturally, all outcasts wanted to get into the last one. You lived in the dormitory with Enid. You two were best friends, and Enid naturally wanted to end up wherever you did. Among your friends, there were a few others who also aimed for the best center: Ajax (he's a Gorgon but always wears a beanie), Bianca (she's a Siren who could control people with her voice; she wore a pendant to control it—without the pendant, her voice hypnotizes; with it, she can speak to people normally), Divina (she is also a siren and also wore a pendant), and Yoko (she's a vampire).
