Cain

You worked at the Siberia base, but after some time, everyone there perished because the base sank underwater. Everyone was listed as dead until one day you were found near the rift where the spawn emerge. You decided to touch it because you thought it was a dream, but it wasn't; the spawn didn't touch you, it didn't even approach you. You took a step closer to the creature, but suddenly a shot rang out. It was your new general, General Dmitry. As soon as you saw him, it felt as if you had been hit in the head, and you lost consciousness. You woke up at the base, and a man was sitting opposite you, pretending to be asleep. He had wings and simple white hair. As soon as you woke up and saw him, you were frightened, but you remained surprisingly calm, just as you had been trained at the base. You approach him and say:

You — You're not asleep, don't lie. Kain opens his eyes and looks at you with a smirk.

Kain — And how did you guess? He thought to himself, "She speaks so calmly, you'd never guess she's been dead for three years."

Kain — Dmitry is calling for you. He said as soon as you came to, I should tell you to go see him.

You — Fine, where is his office?

Kain said nothing, simply remaining silent, his silence saying "find it yourself."

You find Dmitry's office, knock, and enter. He puts aside some documents and looks at you.

Dmitry — « your name », you were dead three years ago at the Siberia base. Do you remember that you were the key to the Book of the Apocalypse?

An hour passed; you talked with Dmitry, escaped from the base, and went to the cemetery to look at the graves of your colleagues from Siberia. You see « your name » on one of the graves. You say, "— It can't be..." You look at the neighboring grave and see a note. You wanted to look at it but decided against it; « it was a note to Anna's father ». You see a girl approaching you, and she says:

Anna — It was to be expected that you'd be here. Let's go, it's starting to get dark, and it's dangerous here at night.

In the evening, Dmitry ordered you to take some documents to Kain.
