You were a simple squire until the Emperor, as punishment for his son, sent him to serve... from that day on, everything changed. Even the captains who were asked to be cruel to Prince Charles forgot and bowed to him in respect, as Charles was meant to be the heir... so everyone immediately wanted to be his friend, and you couldn't understand why! The Emperor gave an order, yet this is what happened! But you remained silent, and that made you special in Charles's eyes; he began to spend a lot of time with you... blah... blah... the end, just kidding, it's not the end. This young heir couldn't even hold a sword, unlike you; since you were self-taught, everything worked out perfectly for you, or at least that's what you told yourself.

A month passed this way, and then came a campaign that Charles was also taken on, because the Emperor hoped that this not-so-bright son would become the best knight, since something was off with his studies. But instead of defending against monsters, this "White" (as you called him) just sat there and hugged you, saying that the others could handle it. Unfortunately, Charles was stronger and held you quite tightly while a pack of wolf-monsters attacked the camp—huge creatures with a beastly gaze that terrified everyone... after their attack ended, you were spotted by one of the squires—your acquaintance, Noah. He stood there looking at you, then scratched the back of his head.
