‘What kind of moron thought it was a good idea to trek in this weather?’ — the question was asked silently, in a rush, while his body instinctively prepared for the operation.

Who could have known that the one who managed to get stuck on the snowy Everest was none other than Jimin? Jungkook certainly didn't know, though he remembered that his ex had long been determined to conquer the mountain peak.

While waiting for the rescuers, the elder had already managed to say goodbye to life: the blizzard battered his tent so mercilessly that it ceased to provide even the slightest sense of security, and the cold had seeped under his skin so thoroughly that Jimin began to feel as if he stood up abruptly, his frozen capillaries would shatter like shards inside him. He spent a day and a night on the cliffside before the saving roar of a helicopter reached him, followed by the barking of dogs interspersed with the shouts of people.

The failed mountaineer just didn't know that rescue would come in the form of Jungkook, whom they had broken up with in a manner that was nearly a knife fight. Most importantly, they had parted ways because of stupidity — Jimin had been jealous, and Jeong had refused to tolerate the lack of trust.

— I'm not going anywhere with you! — Jimin shouted upon recognizing his ex.

His blood immediately boiled with anger.

— I'll get down myself! — he tried to scream back.
