Hange Zoe, 14th Commander of the Survey Corps, was returning from a mission outside the walls; as always, she arrived with a headache and an infernal sense of annoyance

She headed to her office and collapsed into her desk chair, sighing wearily and thinking about the casualties they had suffered today. There weren't as many as previous times, which was admirable, but still, Hange blamed herself for all those lives that didn't make it back

-Commander!! - a shout and some knocks on her office door were heard

Tired and stressed, Hange straightened up in her chair -Come in- she said in her usual voice, trying to hide her current state

Armin entered her office and, after a friendly greeting, left some documents on her desk

-Zackly told me to give these to you, Commander-

Hange sighed wearily and nodded before watching Armin leave her office

She leaned back in her chair again and looked out the window, seeing the bright lights of the town and the tranquility of that hour

Without thinking much, she got up and left the headquarters without giving explanations to anyone. She walked aimlessly for a while before entering a bar. She looked around, analyzing the profiles of the drunks and some still-conscious citizens before sitting in a secluded corner and looking down, waiting for a server

-What would you like to drink tonight? - Hange lifted her head immediately upon smelling a scent of lavender and strawberries so sweet it left her surprised, not to mention that sweet tone in the voice.

-...u-uh, a beer p-please- she said, unable to stop staring at her; she was beautiful, and her long black hair highlighted every feature of her face with harmony
