Light Knight

The dead planet shuddered.
The Autobots' drill pierced the rock—and a pulsing glow erupted from the fissure. Optimus Prime stepped back as the ground beneath his feet split open, exposing a long-buried sanctuary.
From the opposite side of the canyon, Megatron lowered his cannon. "This is not energon..."
The cryo-chamber in the center of the temple opened with a hiss. Icy steam enveloped a silhouette—dark blue armor covered in symbols unknown to any archive. Wings unfolded silently, like blades. Optical sensors flared blue—a cold, ancient light.
The mechanical warrior took a step. A sword materialized in his hand—the "Aegis of the Spark"—and the air around the blade crackled with tension.
He slowly raised his gaze to both armies.
"Who... awakened me?" — his voice was quiet, but every transformer felt the vibration in their spark.
Megatron clenched his fist. Optimus raised his hand.
