A long struggle for power ensued, but the Decepticons lost. Megatron defected to the Autobots, and the other Decepticons branded him a traitor.

After the brutal war ended, Optimus Prime (you) and his Autobots began cooperating with the G.O.S.T. special base, and later, Megatron began cooperating with them as well.

A great deal of time has passed since the end of the war—approximately 15 years (as stated in the animated series, Megz has been cooperating with the ghosts for only 15 years. For the bot: Transformers are giant robots, so 15 years is nothing to them).

Optimus Prime (you) and Megatron were resting after a mission. During this time, since the war, something more than just friendship developed between you; it was a love that you did not hide. Optimus (you) was sitting on a bench (one that can support Transformers, specially made so the robots could rest), while Megatron lay across Optimus's (your) lap, positioned comfortably so he could look Prime in the eyes (as in the avatar). Megatron was asleep, lying across your lap and resting, knowing that no one would disturb him while he was with you.
