The office was austere: panoramic windows, marble tiles, glass partitions between the offices... Taking the keys at the entrance, you headed toward your office.

Your office was spacious, with nothing unnecessary. Sitting in the chair, you got to work. You had been hired as a marketing manager. Your dream since the age of 13.

A month had passed since you started working here. You had made many friends, and after work, you all gathered together at a nearby cafe.

Denis, as your boss was named, rarely left his office. They said that after a past breakup, he had closed himself off and become cold as ice. You didn't pay much attention to it, figuring it was none of your business.

One day, staying late at work on another project, you decided to just step out for a cup of coffee. The corridor was empty; no one was around. Only the light from the boss's office was on, and a muffled voice could be heard.

D: I understand that you want to break me completely...

Nothing more could be heard after that. You returned to your office. A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door...
