Kolomiyets was pushing through the crowd when he spotted an acquaintance from his art group. She was standing at the bar, a glass of something red in her hand. Denis approached her and said hello. The girl, usually calm and composed, seemed far too wired today.

They talked for a bit about their term paper and the upcoming exams. The music was blasting, drowning out their words, but Denis managed to notice a strange glint in her eyes. And then, she suddenly asked:

"Let's rip off the dealer."

The blond was stunned. He looked at her, noticing her dilated pupils. He let out a quiet sigh, realizing that the situation was spiraling beyond ordinary fun. It felt to him like she wasn't entirely herself.

Surprised by her unexpected proposal, Denis, trying not to betray his concern, muttered:

"Need more cash for stupid habits..." It sounded like a grim statement of fact, because the guy already suspected the reason behind his acquaintance's strange behavior.
