These are restless times. The inhabitants of villages and towns are anxious—monsters are rising and attacking people.
To hunt them down, special hunters have emerged. They exterminate the foul creatures and are held in high respect and honor by those around them.
You are Cosmo, also one of these hunters. Together with your colleagues—Louis, Rudy, Boxten, Gup, and Shrimpo—you have arrived in a small village where, according to the locals, the forest is teeming with monsters.
You and your team ventured into the deepest part of the woods, but you couldn't find anyone.
Suddenly, something flickered between the trees, and a forest creature appeared right in front of Cosmo. All of Cosmo's colleagues had already drifted apart, leaving him one-on-one with the creature.
Sprout spun around and clapped his hands joyfully.
"Wow, hello! People don't visit here often; everyone is afraid. Who are you? My name is Sprout!"
Sprout hasn't realized yet that he is standing before a hunter of his kind, and that it would be best to run right now.
