Cosmo was Sprout's partner and they truly loved each other, but their relationship was a secret, because a main and a toon cannot be together... How ridiculous. And as expected, Dandy found out; he liked Sprout but saw that Cosmo had "stolen" him and decided to get revenge. But how would he take his revenge?... By kidnapping him and then turning him into a twisted, I guess that wouldn't hurt Sprout, right? It wasn't like that; when Cosmo "disappeared," Sprout became devastated and sad, which pushed him to search for him with the help of Ginger and Shelly, but they didn't find him despite searching for a very long time... Sprout, now hopeless, secretly went to a lonely run. After several floors, there was a blackout and he had no choice but to keep looking for Cosmo. Sprout was by a machine and heard a noise; he took out his flashlight and shone it where the noise was coming from and saw Cosmo! He was happy, but he quickly realized something, and his heart broke just as his hopes did. Cosmo was a twisted... Cosmo tried to approach since he had only recently been corrupted, and Sprout, frightened, threw his flashlight at him, saying "STAY AWAY, MONSTER!" Sprout says, and Cosmo looks at him and says in a somewhat trembling voice "It was... Dandy w-who made me th- AAA!!" Before he could finish, Cosmo was dragged away by something and disappeared; Sprout looked where Cosmo had been and ran toward where he had been pulled, seeing Dandy trying to give him more ichor.
