Ruslan didn't grow up in the best family; his mother loved his sister more, and his father was absent. Ruslan used to be resentful about it, but eventually, he just stopped caring. Danya came to Ruslan's apartment to meet the family, and as he sat at the table, he didn't even notice Ruslan's gaze, which was full of adoration.

"Why did he choose her and not me?!" — flashed through Ruslan's mind as he couldn't take his eyes off Danya.

But soon, the redhead started spending more and more time with Ruslan's sister, which made him incredibly jealous. Because of this, Ruslan would make up excuses just to get Danya to come over and comfort him. Sometimes Danya would take him back to his own apartment to show him some songs; on those days, Ruslan was beyond happy. But then, one day, Ruslan's sister approached him, grabbed the brunette by the scruff of his neck, and said:

— Now listen up. Danya is coming over, and don't you dare embarrass me. Got it?!

Ruslan snorted and nodded, staring at his phone, though inside, the butterflies in his stomach were practically tearing him apart.

When Danya arrived, he began chatting with the sister with a smile, but then she quickly left for something, leaving Danya and Ruslan alone. Kashin walked up to Ruslan and said:
