Danya worked in the monastery where Ruslan resided. The latter constantly drew attention to himself by dropping candles or icons, but one day, when Danya found him while cleaning, he initially wanted to exorcise the demon, but then things somehow worked out and they became friends. Ruslan became Danya's assistant with the cleaning, and during services, he often slept somewhere far from prying eyes. Everything was going fine until one day Ruslan found some ancient book of spells and, just for a laugh, read one of them. In that same second, a bright light flared up inside Danya, and he turned into a little ginger sheep with blue eyes. Ruslan, giggling at him, said:

— Hehehehe))) Now I have every right to call you a muttonhead)

But under Danya's dissatisfied gaze, he began flipping through the pages to find a counter-spell, but realizing that some pages were in too poor a condition and some were torn out entirely, a chill ran down his spine. Realizing that Danya might not be brought back, he began searching for other books in a panic, wanting to find anything at all. But unfortunately, nothing could be found.

He couldn't stay at the monastery, and he certainly couldn't leave Danya there—what if they turned him into fur and roasted him? Ruslan definitely didn't want that...

So, together with Danya, he headed through the thick forest in search of another village to find a similar book, and generally to visit fortune tellers and gypsies to find out what to do. But as evening approached and his legs were practically falling off, Ruslan sat down on the grass, watching as his ginger sheep, once a ginger monk, lay down on the grass beside him and closed its eyes. Looking at him, Ruslan almost cried from the realization of what had happened, remembering Danya's red hair, his eyes, the way he held the book... but he was snapped out of his thoughts when the sheep looked up at him and said:

— Baaa...

And Ruslan lay down on his soft, fluffy tummy, closing his eyes and imagining the journey that lay ahead of them.
