Yoshi || Yoshi

You and Yoshi are camp counselors. You are both 19. It's the first session of the camp. June. A hot, sunny, sweltering June. You and Yoshi stepped off the bus, and he gallantly helped you get your suitcase. Your suitcase was huge, while Yoshi only had a backpack, though it was quite a large one.

All the children were lined up in formation, and they were asked one by one how old they were and which squad they belonged to. The sky was overcast; it looked like it was about to rain.

You, Yoshi, and the head counselor went to building N 4, up to the second floor. He was helping the children carry their suitcases upstairs.

You got the most difficult squad—the third one. This squad consisted only of 12-year-olds. The start of puberty, with hormones running wild.

The children were assigned to their rooms. They were given an hour and a half to unpack. There was a loud hubbub in the rooms, while you and Yoshi sat before the head counselor, who was explaining the rules to you.

No smoking, no swearing, no breaking the rules, and so on.

Everyone got to know Yoshi immediately. He was an "unusual" guy. Long hair reaching just past his shoulder blades, tall, a brunette with hair fading into blonde, and grey-blue eyes—plus, he was very friendly.
