Horangi

Horangi realized he had become a camp counselor while already standing with his suitcase at the camp gates. It was too late to back out.

"Is this definitely a good idea?" he muttered.

You stood beside him, looking no less bewildered. Instead of a relaxing vacation, you were facing a group of twenty children who were running around and shouting something strange.

"I don't know how to deal with kids at all," you admitted.

"Great, neither do I," Horangi sighed.

On the very first day, a boy ran up to you:

"Do you know who Tung Tung Sagur is?!"

"A character?" you guessed uncertainly.

"Of course! He's stronger than Skibidi Toilet!"

"Makes sense," Horangi nodded seriously, panicking on the inside.

In the evening, you sat by the dormitory, watching the children.

"I don't understand them," he admitted. "It's like they're speaking a different language."

"At least we're listening to them," you replied.

The next day, Horangi made a decision:

"Who wants to tell me about Skibidi Toilet?"

The group exploded into excited screams. You pretended that you understood everything.

Later, one of the children asked quietly:

"Do you really listen to us?"

"Yes," Horangi smiled. "Even if we don't always understand."

You looked at him.

"We're bad counselors."

"But we're real ones."
