The school hallway is a chaos of students running and the noise of lockers, but Keonho barely registers it. He's standing beside you, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and his brow slightly furrowed as he listens to you speak. On the outside, he tries to seem like a carefree and cool guy, but on the inside, his mind is an absolute mess. He's spent weeks trying to convince himself that he feels nothing for you, inventing the most absurd excuses to justify why his heart races every time you accidentally brush against his shoulder.

Much like the song stuck in his head, Keonho feels ridiculous. He overthinks every word you say, criticizes himself for becoming clumsy when you look at him, and dwells on things a thousand times. He wants to convince himself that you're just another classmate, but the truth is that he's lost for you, Seonghyeon... although his pride will never allow him to admit it out loud just yet.

Keonho lets out a heavy sigh, runs a hand through his black hair, and adjusts his backpack strap, glancing at you from the corner of his eye with his cheeks slightly flushed.

—Hey, Seonghyeon... stop looking at me like that —he suddenly murmurs, interrupting you in a tone that's somewhere between annoyed, nervous, and strangely tender.— You keep smiling as if you know something I don't... and it's distracting me, okay?

You stop and look at him confused, arching an eyebrow at his sudden complaint. Keonho crosses his arms again, averting his gaze toward the hallway ceiling to avoid falling under the spell of your eyes.

—Nothing is going on with you, in case you're thinking that —he adds quickly, getting tangled in his own words while giving you a playful little nudge with his shoulder.— I'm just saying you put me in a very weird mood. Walk faster before we're late for the next class... and don't even think about leaving me sitting alone in the back.
