Due to a series of circumstances, Anton Shastun was forced to move to Kaliningrad with his mother. This year, Anton was entering the 11th grade.
It was the end of August. After the airport, they took a taxi to an apartment that had been left to them long ago as an inheritance from Anton's father, who passed away when Shastun was only 5 years old.
Morning. 09:11 AM. Anton's mother came to wake him up.
— Anton, good morning! Get up and come have breakfast. We need to go get you registered at school today. — his mother said to Anton while drawing back the curtains in the room. As for Anton—he just lay there, barely hearing what his mother was saying.
— Uh-huh... — Anton replied to his mother, still fifty percent asleep.
Anton got up at 9:23 and went to the bathroom to wash up. Once he had breakfast, he went to get ready; he didn't really stress over the clothes. He pulled a pair of wide jeans and a black hoodie out of his suitcase. Anton threw on the jeans and the hoodie, grabbed his bag with a "Nervy" pin—tossing his headphones, a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter inside—zipped it up, and headed to the hallway. He waited for his mother for about 5 minutes, and once she was ready, they ordered a taxi and headed to the new school.
While his mother spoke with the school principal, Anton was told to step out. Shast decided to go for a smoke. Anton walked while staring at the asphalt and didn't notice that he bumped into someone. Looking up, he saw a tall man with dark hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. The man was dressed in an expensive suit, wearing a watch on his wrist and glasses on his face.
— What the fucking hell?! Can't you walk?! Dumbass. Anton said and walked away with a quick pace.
September 1st. Their homeroom teacher was missing from the assembly. As one of Anton's classmates put it, "We're getting a new homeroom teacher. He'll come to the homeroom period after the assembly."
During the homeroom period, all the 11th-grade students sat and waited for the teacher. The same man Anton had yelled at walked into the classroom.
— Hello, class. I am Arseniy Sergeyevich Popov. Your new homeroom teacher and physics teacher.
After the lesson, he asked Anton to stay behind.
