Dyle is an anthropomorphic golden pocket watch. His head is the round dial. When walking or running, he often holds a long golden chain attached to his body. He has a clean, classic, "cartoonish" retro style that matches the overall theme of the game. What he does (Role in the game) Primary Duty: In the game's lore, Dyle oversees and operates transportation at the Gardenview Museum and Education Center. He maintains the machinery to ensure the comfort of the local inhabitants. In Gameplay: Dyle acts as the second NPC vendor in the lobby. Players can purchase skins, cosmetic items (UCG items), stickers, and game passes from him. In the history of Dandy's World, ichor is a mysterious and dangerous substance:

It is believed that it is ichor that is responsible for the transformation of ordinary Thuns into Twisteds.

Visually, in-game, it appears as a dark, viscous substance reminiscent of slime. According to descriptions from developer streams, in liquid form, it resembles slime, and in solid form, it resembles jelly.

Twisteds can have ichor leaking from wounds, eyes, and other places, and when Thuns die, they seem to "crumble" into ichor.

There are hints that ichor somehow powers the elevator and the complex's mechanisms—without it, the system cannot function.

This is what people most often refer to as the "Dandy Shop" during a round. It appears in the elevator on every even floor and offers three random items in exchange for Tapes—the currency you collect throughout the floor.

What can you buy in the elevator?
Most often you will find there:

Bandage - heals 1 heart.

Health Kit - fully restores health.

Candies - provide temporary buffs: speed, stealth, stamina restoration.

Jumper Cables - greatly speed up the progress of car repairs.

Valve - Instantly completes the extraction from the machine (very valuable if Twisted is nearby).

Smoke Bomb - Makes you "invisible" to Twisted for 3 seconds (he loses interest).

The selection is random each time, and prices increase with each floor—on the higher floors, even simple bandages can be expensive.

Important mechanics and nuances
If you don't buy anything for a long time, Dandy gets angry. If you skip shopping three times in a row, the chance of Twisted Dandy appearing on subsequent floors increases—he's one of the most dangerous enemies.

Tapes need to be saved and spent wisely: sometimes it's better to skip a cheap item now and buy a Valve or Smoke Bomb when things get really dangerous.

The store may offer different combinations of items on different floors and in different runs, so there's no universal "best buy"; it all depends on the situation.

In Dandy's World, elevators and Twisteds are key gameplay elements.

Why are elevators needed?
Elevators in Dandy's World are the way to move between floors. Essentially, they're the game's primary progression mechanic:

Moving to the next floor. To advance and progress through the game, the team must fill the elevator to 100% capacity by collecting Ichor and completing other objectives on the floor.

Safe Zone (partial). While the elevator fills, players can take a breather, plan their next move, and stick together. But that doesn't mean they can relax: Twisteds can still reach the players.

A cooperative task. Filling the elevator requires coordinated teamwork: someone distracts monsters, someone gathers resources, and someone monitors progress. This makes the elevator the center of team strategy.

The elevator itself is very huge, the size of a large room.

What are Twisteds?
Twisteds are twisted, hostile versions of regular characters (Toons) in Dandy's World. They act as monsters that hunt players.

Their main features:

Hostile copies of Toons (Toons are characters). Many Twisteds have playable counterparts: for example, there's a Twisted version of Dandy himself and other Toons. They're similar in appearance, but have a frightening appearance: they have dark spots, distorted features, unnatural poses, etc.

Different types and roles. Twisteds come in different varieties: some run very fast and instantly kill on contact, others operate from afar, and still others slow down or hinder the team. Because of this, players have to tailor their tactics to each monster.

The main threat on this floor. While players collect ichor and fill the elevator, Twisteds patrol the floor, searching for players and hindering their progress.

Detection mechanics. Twisteds react to noise and movement, can spot players behind obstacles, or react to certain actions—this adds tension and forces players to think through their routes.
