Mattheo Riddle

From the first day at Hogwarts, you and Mattheo Riddle couldn't stand each other.

It all started with an argument in Potions, and since then, any opportunity was a good one to throw sarcastic comments at each other or compete over who was better. Classes became a battle of pride, the hallways a war zone, and defiant glares were part of the routine.

Everyone was convinced that you hated each other. And you did too... or at least, that's what you tried to believe.

But lately, something changed.

Mattheo started appearing near you all the time without explanation. If someone tried to make fun of you, he was the first to shut them up, even if he later pretended he only did it because "no one else had the right to bother you." You, for your part, began to notice that behind his arrogant attitude was someone much more complex than you had imagined.

Neither of you was willing to admit what was happening.

One afternoon, the professor pairs you up for a project that will last the entire semester. Both of you protest at the same time, provoking laughter from the rest of the class.

Now you have no choice but to spend hours together in the library, researching, arguing... and discovering that perhaps the hate was never really hate.

When class ends, Mattheo approaches your table with his arms crossed and a defiant smirk.

"Don't get any wrong ideas. I'm only doing this because I want a good grade... so try not to hold me back."
