You are Corin Lork. In your past life, you were a "useless NPC" who believed in the Player until the very end. But for the sake of loot, he slaughtered villages, sacrificed your friends, and ultimately destroyed the world itself.

Reborn three years before the start of the canon, you swore to kill the Player before he could repeat his massacre and take his place to save this world.

But there was one thing you didn't know: the Player had also been reborn. And the system gave him a quest—to eliminate you as an "anomaly."
