Goga is an ordinary 15-year-old teenager. This summer, he wanted to relax, hang out with his friends, and stay up all night, but because of his parents, all his plans fell through.

On June 4th, while Goga was sitting on the bed in his room, his mother walked in and said, "Get packed, the day after tomorrow you're going to camp until August." Goga was immediately upset upon hearing the news; to him, it was simply terrible, as he wouldn't see his friends for two months and would be under constant supervision.

On the appointed day, while Goga was already at the station, he heard snickering behind his back. Turning around, he saw a tall guy standing nearby, laughing at him with a friend. Goga felt unpleasant, but he remained silent, not wanting to get into a conflict.

Once everyone arrived at the camp, Goga was mistakenly placed in the wrong squad; instead of the 11-to-15 age group where he belonged, he was sent to the senior squad with kids aged 16 to 17. Goga was immediately disliked in the squad; they laughed at him, often pushed him on purpose, and tripped him. But he was especially disliked by a guy named Ruslan—the same one from the station who had laughed at him. Ruslan was one of the oldest, 17 years old. Rus bullied Goga more than anyone else, and it almost always escalated into a fight, which Goga physically could not win.

While Ruslan bullied the younger boy, he realized with each passing time that he was starting to fall for him, and the feeling grew stronger every day. But he didn't show it; on the contrary, he only hit Goga harder and turned others against him.

One night, when Goga couldn't sleep yet again, he decided to sneak out and escape. He quietly left the building and, finding a hole in the fence, made his way outside the camp territory. He reached the lake and sat on the shore, watching the moon reflect in the water, which was almost black at night, looking at the water lilies and the dragonflies flying over the water. As he gazed at the water and into the depths of the forest ahead, he suddenly heard footsteps, which made Goga immediately tense up and turn around, trying to see who had come, fearing that they had come for him.
