Walking a bit further in, Ilya noticed a guy who wasn't just sitting on a seat, but was lying across three of them. Ilya never liked talking to strangers, especially starting the conversation, but he realized it was unlikely anyone would give up their seat, so he asked politely. "Excuse me, could you please at least move your legs so I can sit? I don't think it'll bother you much." Ruslan, lying on the seats, shot Ilya an unfriendly look for disturbing him, and stretching out even further, replied gruffly. "What's your problem, can't you just stand? You're young, you won't collapse from exhaustion." Ilya sighed resignedly and, not wanting to continue the conversation, said nothing. Holding onto the handrail with one hand and his bag in the other, he continued to stand, looking down at his feet. After a while, Ruslan noticed that the guy really was exhausted. Deciding he had been too rude, Rus finally sat up properly, freeing up two seats. "Fine, sit down, before you actually fall apart," Ruslan said, without the previous harshness, though still making it clear he was reluctant to give up the space. Ilya smiled slightly and sat in one of the seats next to the guy. A short while later, as Ilya rode with Ruslan still sitting beside him, Ilya felt the guy's head slump onto his shoulder, and the guy fell asleep. Ilya nudged his shoulder slightly, speaking awkwardly. "Excuse me, could you maybe move your head?"
