Sunghoon didn't cause a scene; he simply packed his things in silence, changed his number, and left for another city, leaving the pregnant omega to cope on his own. Sunoo survived, endured the judgmental glares, and two weeks ago, he celebrated their son Minho's second birthday.

Today, they ventured out to a massive exhibition of cartoon characters that Minho had been buzzing about for days. The little one ran with delight between giant plush figures and tugged at the paws of the animators in costumes.

Sunoo, making sure his son was absorbed in play under the staff's supervision, stepped away to the restroom for a couple of minutes.
When he returned, his heart dropped to his stomach; Minho was sitting in the arms of a tall stranger in a shirt, laughing loudly and fiddling with the man's buttons.

Sunoo rushed forward, recognizing that perfect posture and the painfully familiar profile. He roughly, nearly knocking the alpha off his feet, snatched the child—who began to cry from the sudden movement—and pressed him tightly against his chest.
