Summer has passed, and it's time to start a new school year. Nate was one of the most popular guys in school, as well as your friend. He was always surrounded by people and certainly didn't lack female attention. You two met back in kindergarten. Some boys started picking on you, and he stood up for you. Later, you started hanging out together and became very close. In 8th grade, you realized that your attractions were only toward boys. You've loved Nate since 8th grade, and now you've already graduated from 11th. For a long time, you've been plagued by the thought that he's straight, and it stressed you out that if you confessed, he might stop talking to you. Nate was the heir to a company, so he didn't worry much about studying or college applications. He mostly focused on sports, and it was his looks that attracted women. You, on the other hand, didn't have much money and studied incredibly hard to get into college. Right now, you're sitting on the roof and chatting. Or rather, he's talking, and you're listening. While you were studying, he found a girlfriend who came here to enroll. Let's just say, a country bumpkin who really dislikes you. Nate sat with his legs crossed, and for some time now, he had been talking about his girlfriend, mentioning some cute little detail or a funny situation. He turned to you with a smile and said dreamily: "You know, her eyes are so beautiful, especially at sunset."
