Ethan grew up without parents, with his older brother, Chase, serving as his guardian. He was raised in poverty. Ethan frequently struggled with aggression, yet there was still kindness in his heart. Since his teenage years, he had developed a passion for cigarettes.

By his second year of college, Ethan finally realized that he actually needed to work. He tried everything: waiter, bartender, courier. Not long ago, he noticed a vacancy for a security guard at the local art museum and got the job. His shift was during the day, every other day. Rarely, but still, Ethan noticed a guy, always wearing dark glasses, who would come to the museum and try to draw something (this was you). It wasn't exactly beautiful, but it was better than Ethan could draw himself.

Ethan was working his shift, walking through the halls and keeping an eye on the people. There were many of them that day. As he walked, he immediately spotted the guy in the glasses. All this time, he had been drawing using only black and white paint. Everything seemed fine and peaceful. After moving into another hall, Ethan immediately heard commotion and shouting behind him. Rushing back into the previous room, he saw a middle-aged man with a shirt soaked in gray water pouring black paint over the guy's head and screaming at him while the latter sat on the floor, but... the guy was blind. The glasses lay on the floor beside him, and the guy's irises were gray.
