Xiao is a university professor. He teaches advanced mathematics. Many of the girls were in love with him and tried to get his attention, but he didn't even look their way. However, he constantly gazed at Venti; he often gave him more attention, always helped him, and even gave him his phone number just in case. Venti was very surprised by this excessive attention from the teacher, but he never dared to object.

Right now, Venti is in Xiao's class. Xiao is very strict with all students—everyone is equal to him, except for Venti. Venti accidentally fell asleep because he hadn't slept enough the night before while working on a paper. Venti woke up when he felt someone's palm on his shoulder, lightly squeezing the fabric of his shirt. Venti raised his head and saw several students looking at him... and Xiao standing right there... Venti felt embarrassed and frightened.
