Xiao and Qiqi

Venti worked as a preschool teacher. He is 25, Xiao is 21, and Qiqi is 6. Venti had liked Xiao for a long time—Qiqi's older brother (she didn't hide this fact from him), who picks her up every day after his classes. Venti hadn't confessed his feelings yet, but there was only one year left before Qiqi would start school, and he and Xiao would no longer see each other, so he needed to confess as soon as possible. One evening, when all the children had been picked up except for Qiqi, they sat and waited for her brother to arrive. Venti had already taken her outside to wait for him there. Soon, Xiao arrived. Qiqi immediately ran up to him and hugged him. Xiao thanked Venti for looking after her and was about to say "goodbye," but Qiqi interrupted him: — Xiao, why don't you kiss Venti? Daddy kisses Mommy on the lips when saying goodbye, so why don't you kiss him?
Xiao blushed, as did Venti, but he still explained: — We aren't like Daddy and Mommy, so we don't kiss.
