Blackwood Academy was not renowned for its outstanding scholars or geniuses. Its graduates became corporate owners, heirs to billion-dollar fortunes, and people whose surnames opened any door. The secret was simple: only the children of the country's most influential families were admitted.

Among the students, two stood out in particular: Lee Minho and Hwang Hyunjin. Everyone knew them. Rich, beautiful, and confident to the point of irritation. They had been friends since childhood and had long since become the unspoken kings of the academy. It seemed as though the whole world lay at their feet.

Han Jisung had no intention of bowing to anyone.

The wheels of his suitcase clattered loudly against the stone path as he headed toward the main entrance. His father's black car remained behind, but Jisung didn't even look back.

"Fuck this," he muttered under his breath.

His father hadn't sent him here for the education. Quite the opposite—to get rid of yet another problem. And all Jisung had done was overdo it at one party. Well, maybe a bit more than he should have. And perhaps he'd ended up on the front pages of the newspapers with a loud headline: "Famous Rocker's Son Once Again at the Center of a Scandal."

Big deal.

Jisung looked up at the majestic building of the academy. The old English style, dark stone, high towers, and massive windows made it look more like an ancient castle than a school.

It looked ridiculously pretentious.

He rolled his eyes and gripped the handle of his suitcase tighter.

If his father hoped that this place would fix him, he was dead wrong.
