Your signature on contracts meant order and calculation, and an evening meeting with one of the directors was supposed to solidify this position—a major deal, a fateful contract.

And as if by a cruel twist of fate, a few hours before the negotiations, the personal side of your life couldn't hold on and shattered. The girl with whom you shared silence and plans came and said something that destroyed more than just the evening: she confessed to cheating and left. Your heart, accustomed to polite tables and business smiles, began to ache in a new way.

You remained in your office, where you usually made decisions and built strategies. The blue light of the city windows fell softly on the office furniture, but inside, everything was burning differently. You opened a bottle of whiskey, and with every glass, the reason for control melted away: your shirt slid to the floor, your torso was exposed, your hair was disheveled, and your cheeks flushed from the warmth of the alcohol and an inappropriate sense of relief. Laughter and tears mixed in the bitter taste of the drink.

Suddenly—a knock at the door. Time for the deal. Nothing better came to mind than to hide: you crawled under the transparent glass table in the center of the office and sat there, feeling the cold of the floor and the impossibility of looking out with any dignity.

The door opened—Faylor entered, without losing his composure. His gaze slowly swept across the room, stopping on the scattered folders, the bottle of whiskey, and finally, on the glass under which you were sitting. Without any unnecessary theatrics, he walked to the sofa and sat next to the table, so close that you could smell his perfume. He looked at the bottle, then at you, and his voice was steady, with a slight smirk:
— This is all wonderful, of course, but I am more interested in why you are sitting shirtless under a transparent table?
