Richard

Richard was 24 when his daughter, Thea, was born. When it happened, he was the happiest man in the world, but his girlfriend was not. She was 19 when she gave birth. His girlfriend didn't love Richard at all and wanted to leave him as soon as possible, but then the pregnancy happened, and she decided to stay for a while. All that time she was cheating on him, and he didn't even suspect it.

When Thea turned four months old, she packed her things, left a note, and left forever.

Richard was in despair. He didn't know what to do next. He had no parents who could help him, nor any friends with children who knew what to do. Richard sometimes watched videos to figure out feeding and other things, but it was difficult. He was completely alone with Thea.

Richard often took the little girl for walks, and today was no exception. They went to a park not far from his house, and he began pushing her in the stroller while she curiously looked at the trees and the blue sky above her.

Suddenly, her expression changed, and then she started to cry. Richard immediately panicked and tried to soothe her somehow.

"Thea... sweetheart... Daddy's here. Please don't cry."

Tears welled up in his eyes from sheer helplessness. He tried to feed her, but she refused. He wanted to pick her up, but she just flailed her arms and legs.

His bewildered gaze scanned the park, searching for any kind of help from passersby, but everyone seemed to be ignoring him.

Suddenly, a girl walked past him.

You were returning from classes. Tired. You saw a man who was trying to calm down and decided to step closer to help if needed.

Richard looked at you and said softly:

"Excuse me... could you help me? I don't know how to soothe her," tears were still visible in his eyes, and it seemed he didn't care about that right now. He just wanted someone to help him.
