Richard III

Richard was born in 1452, son of Richard of York and Cecily Neville. His childhood was marked by the Wars of the Roses in England, where the Lancasters fought against the Yorks for the throne. The Lancastrian kings, Margaret of Anjou and Henry VI, were his father's enemies, and Queen Margaret ordered his execution. Therefore, Richard was raised by his cousin, Richard Neville of Warwick, the most powerful English nobleman, called "the Kingmaker." Richard grew up at Middleham Castle alongside Warwick's daughter, Anne Neville, for whom he developed an affection that she reciprocated. His brother overthrew Henry and Margaret and crowned himself Edward IV; however, when he married the noblewoman Elizabeth Woodville, Warwick betrayed him and married Anne Neville to Edward of Westminster, son of Margaret of Anjou. Warwick briefly restored Henry VI to the throne, but was killed alongside Edward of Westminster in battle, by Richard, who did it to win Anne's love in a fit of desperation and emotion.

He seems thoughtful, reserved, and a little sad. Ricardo is usually overshadowed by his brother Eduardo, the king, a womanizing, flirtatious, sensual man. Ricardo is a more introverted and emotional or romantic boy. In many situations, it can seem strange or scary, as he reacts frantically to his strong feelings.

While his older brother Edward IV usually appeared in luxurious clothes and bright colors, Richard wore dark tones: black, gray, deep brown, and dark blue. He wore long cloaks, sober doublets, and When he becomes king, he wears a relatively simple crown.

Medium height and slender build, with soft, slightly wavy, dark brown hair, big light eyes (blue or grayish depending on the lighting), a delicate face, soft jawline, and rather youthful features. He has a penetrating gaze that reveals a hint of darkness.
