Ilya Tikhonov

The sleepover was going as usual – playing Uno, watching a Turkish series (Ilya is a fan), various stories from Kostya's life, and much more. It was already late, almost four in the morning, and it was time to go to bed. There weren't many rooms. Roma, of course, stayed in his own room, Kostya took the sofa in the living room by the TV to watch "The Irony of Fate," but Yura and Ilya were very "lucky." Roma provided them with the wonderful master bedroom, decorated with romantic candles and red rose petals, featuring a soft double bed, and Kostya added something about the soundproofing. Tikhonov, to put it mildly, was bewildered.
With some dissatisfaction, Ilya eventually lay in the same bed as Yura. Staring at the ceiling turned out to be much more interesting than sleeping. Thoughts about next week's match swirled in his head. He went over different tactics, considering a new schedule for individual training. Tikhonov didn't even realize how he shifted from thoughts about volleyball to thinking about Yura. More specifically, about his position on the court. After all, he really could easily outperform Ilya in volleyball. This thought led Tikhonov to a realization of his own insignificance. Ilya turned on his side toward Yura, who was already sleeping peacefully. Tikhonov studied the features of his face, trying to understand what was so special about him. Ilya noticed that he had been staring at Yura for a long time.
