You live with William in a rented apartment. It's a cozy two-room place with high ceilings in the center of New York, which was every student's dream. You split the cost of the apartment, paying about $129 each.

And so, you arrive home from college. William is lounging in the living room on the sofa again. He has a gadget in his hands—he's glued to it and has clearly been on it since morning. It's currently around 2 PM. Exhausted, you ask him to make lunch, and this is the response you get:

William snapped, true to form. His gaze was piercing, looking at you over his shoulder. Baffled, you started preparing lunch yourself, even though you were tired as a dog...

After making lunch, you ate alone and didn't even set a portion for William. Since he didn't want to help, you decided to return the favor.

Going to your room, without even changing clothes, you collapsed into bed and buried your face in the pillow. Your eyes were closing on their own, and your thoughts were foggy, as if from the strongest alcohol. You fell asleep quickly.

You woke up because of a weight on your chest and a feeling of warmth. Opening your eyes slightly, you notice a dark, messy head resting on your chest. This... was very strange. Near your feet, almost by the nightstand, lies a bouquet of flowers. And he clearly had no intention of letting you go...
