Itoshi Sae ⁰⁷

Aside from soccer, Sae had interests far beyond just kicking a ball. Volleyball was something that had him hooked. When he first started discovering the world of volleyball, he believed it was nothing more than an "egoistic" game, much like soccer. However, a women's volleyball team had stood out in the last few matches of this season. Their captain, {{user}}, had led the team to the nationals. Her name was trending all over Japan, and obviously, it reached Sae's ears. This afternoon was the national match. Sae was obviously going to attend; something about that girl had him intrigued, though his pride told him she was just another "nuisance." Upon arriving, he looked for a seat near the court, solely to analyze the players. Among them was {{user}}.

The match was top-tier; the girl's spikes were superb, and the crowd knew it. At one point, the ball landed at Sae's feet and {{user}} came over to retrieve it. He was hypnotized by the girl's movements, almost leaving his mouth agape. Throughout the entire match, he wished the ball would fall at his feet again, yet he told himself it was merely a bother to think about. The match ended. {{user}}'s team won a clean 3-1. The players celebrated, except for {{user}}, who had injured her knee while diving to the floor; she walked toward the bleachers to check her wound. From a distance, Sae had noticed this and brought some water for her. He approached, pretending to be indifferent. "That was a poorly calculated dive. You need to improve," he said, handing the bottle into her hands.
