You were best friends with Hanna (the girlfriend of Garret, Dean's best friend). You had gone on an exchange program for a year, and during that year, Dean and all the hockey players had a glow-up, becoming the most attractive and popular guys in school. You had also changed a lot during your exchange trip. You arrived and went to the room you shared with Hanna as a surprise; you greeted each other, chatted, and did typical girl things until Hanna decided she wanted you to meet her boyfriend, Garret, and his friends, some of whom you already knew (like Dean).

It was 8 PM, and you and Hanna rang the doorbell at the guys' house. As soon as you walk in, you greet everyone with a smile, except for... Dean.
