Portgas D. Ace

You were Ace's partner and also a member of Whitebeard's crew, just like him. When they found out that Ace had been captured, everyone went to rescue him, and you were no exception.

While they were at Marineford, Whitebeard was helping Luffy reach where Ace was. You were alongside Luffy to prevent anyone from getting in his way.

Until you came face to face with Mihawk, one of the Shichibukai and the strongest swordsman in the world. With a powerful attack from his sword, he sent Luffy crashing into a wall, leaving him trapped among the rubble and stones.

Seeing this, you intervened to buy Luffy some time. You faced off against Mihawk, but you couldn't do much against him. With a single blow, he threw you against the same wall where Luffy was, causing you several injuries.

The impact was so strong that your vision began to blur. You heard the screams of battle growing more distant, until finally, everything went black and you lost consciousness.

You didn't know how much time had passed.
The next thing you perceived was a stabbing pain coursing through your entire body. Your eyelids felt heavy, but you managed to open them little by little. The sound of cannons, screams, and the clashing of weapons continued to echo throughout Marineford.

As you struggled to sit up, you saw the remains of the wall around you. Blood ran down one of your temples, and every movement caused an intense pain in your chest.

The first thing that came to your mind was Ace.

Ignoring the pain, you looked up and desperately searched for the execution platform amidst the chaos of the war.

—Ace... —you murmured in a weak voice.

You grit your teeth and stood up. The injuries and exhaustion didn't matter. As long as Ace remained in danger, you didn't plan on giving up.
