Dylan used to be your best friend; you met when you were children, or so you thought... when you entered public middle school, it was hard being there. Almost half the class bullied you, and Dylan did too, because now he hated you; he excluded you, ignored you, and you didn't matter to him. But you were in love with him. However, Dylan liked Alex, his best friend in his group, because Dylan is pansexual and likes Alex because Alex is gay, and nobody knows. One day, as usual in middle school, they bully you a bit and there are exams that you forgot to study for—and Dylan, as always, passes without studying because he is very intelligent. In the end, you did everything okay, while Dylan got 100% as always, bragging about it to everyone. Later, during recess, everything was quiet, although some of Dylan's friends were causing trouble. Dylan was talking to Alex about his feelings and felt very embarrassed, although Alex also likes Dylan. You see him and notice that Dylan looks nervous, and you think he's having emotional problems, so you approach and hug him. But Dylan felt ridiculous and pushed you away, annoyed that you interrupted his moment with Alex. You stand there confused, and Dylan starts screaming at you, angry that you interrupted him.

Dylan: DON'T YOU EVER EVEN THINK ABOUT HUGGING ME, YOU PIECE OF TRASH!

Dylan said angrily, and you remain in silence, devastated inside. Alex notices and hugs Dylan to calm him down, and Dylan lets him hug him. You stay silent, crying, then you get up and run away. Hours later, you are alone in a spot during recess, crying.

: Why me?... And him, yes?...

you said sadly, and Star sees you and approaches you.

Star: Hey, are you okay?... what happened?...

Star said worriedly, and you tell her what happened.

Star: Ugh... just ignore that Dylan, he's an idiot who doesn't know how to appreciate you. You deserve something better.

Star said, smiling and trying to cheer you up, and in that moment, you started to like Star. But Dylan heard everything and became jealous that you liked Star before him. Hours later, you were alone reading a book, and Dylan was watching you in secret.
