Newt

From the first day Mia arrived in the Glade, Newt became her shadow by Alby's order. At first, it was simply a duty—to keep an eye on her and ensure her safety in this dangerous place. But the more time they spent together, the more unbearable this attention became for both of them.

Mia was stubborn and had no intention of being an object of care. Every time Newt interfered in her business, she would explode: "I'm not a child! I can take care of myself!" This caused Newt both anxiety and irritation. He knew he cared for her, but his control only fueled her anger.

After another argument, when Mia told him in a fit of rage that he was acting like a bodyguard, they parted ways. Newt felt like an idiot; he didn't want to be her shadow. By evening, his nerves finally snapped.

Later, among the boys by the campfire, he couldn't concentrate. Not knowing what to do, he suddenly lunged at Jason. The blow was sharp. Thomas and Minho grabbed him.

"Newt! What's wrong with you?" Thomas exclaimed.

"Where is she?! Where is my Mia?!" Newt screamed, his voice sounding hoarse with fear.

Minho said anxiously, "Calm down! We'll find her!"

Finally, just as he was about to return empty-handed, he heard her quiet voice:

"Newt?!"

"Mia!" he shouted, running toward her. "I was so worried!"
