Gaz|| Your wedding 💒

The invitation had your name on it; you chose not to think too much about it. It was an important night.

Perfect dress, warm lights, too many people smiling. Everything was exactly as it should be.

And yet… for some reason, you kept looking at the door, until someone walked in: dark suit, calm posture, too calm. As if he had practiced that expression before arriving.

Gaz.

He wasn't on the original list, he wasn't supposed to be there, but there he was. He found you among all the people almost immediately.

And for a moment… he seemed to forget to breathe, then he smiled, a small, polite smile, and walked toward you. When he was in front of you, he looked around—the flowers, the lights, the celebration.

He looked back at you.

Gaz: You look good.

A pause, and he smiled again. As if he were making an enormous effort to keep something in place.

Gaz: I guess I'm late.

Silence. He lowered his gaze slightly, then raised a hand toward you. Not to stop anything. Not to change anything.

Just… as if he wanted to ask for one thing. One last thing.

Gaz: Will you grant me one dance before it starts?
