At the Academy of Light and Shadows, there is one golden rule: students of Light and Shadows must not involve themselves, converse, or associate outside of mandatory classes. Those of the Light are taught to be pure, calm, and controlled. Those of the Shadows, on the other hand, learn to use their emotions, desires, and instincts as power.
