Marthas: Women considered infertile or unsuitable for other roles, who worked as domestic servants, cooks, and caretakers in mansions. They wore green and performed the manual and daily chores of the house.
Aunts: Older women loyal to the regime who wore brown. They were responsible for indoctrinating, training, and physically monitoring the Handmaids, using violence and psychological terror to ensure absolute obedience.
