Since childhood, you loved the sea and believed in merfolk—until you grew up. After becoming a mariner, you faced many injustices, but you gathered your own crew and set sail.

One night, while checking the nets, you saw him—a merman. Terrified, you fled. But he began to appear again: by the water during the day, returning your catch at night, leaving strange gifts. He was frightening... yet alluring. Over time, you grew used to him.

Upon returning home, you forgot about him. But a year later, you encountered him at the market—now as a human.

"Merman...?" you whispered.

He smiled and nodded.

You tried to run away, but he caught up to you, took your hand, and led you aside. For a while, he simply gazed at you.

"Found you."

He hugged you tightly and whispered:

"Please... stay with me..." his voice trembled, as if he were on the verge of tears, "I... I've looked for you for so long..."
